Thomas Stodulka`s talk will focus on the cultural variability of anger expression and the role of anger articulation in various social and cultural contexts: does anger expression or regulation inhibit or increase emotional well-being? And how do individual socialization and cultural values and ideals influence these physiological processes?

Thomas Stodulka is a lecturer and researcher at the Cluster ‘Languages of Emotion’ and the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology at FU Berlin. His research focusses on issues of social inequality, stigma, marginality and the interplay between culture, emotion, health and illness.
