Chrys Avramidis, born in Thessaloniki, has studied philosophy, education and teaching. He worked in Greece as a teacher – also as a volunteer and founder of an educational project for refugees in Thessaloniki, which is still running after 6 years. In Hildesheim he used the opportunity to deepen his knowledge of one academic topics – German Idealism – and wrote his Master's thesis on this. In Berlin, he is currently working as a Greek teacher, both as a freelancer and as a member of various cultural and educational projects and initiatives. In 2010, he co-founded the academic, critical and philosophical magazine Anti-logos in Thessaloniki, and he is still a member of the editorial department.
