He has produced and played bass on several records for the 'Godfather' of Nubian music, the late Ali Hassan Kuban. As a multi-instrumentalist and master of musical hybrids, he has played alongside jazz fusion and blues artist Jean Paul Bourelly, pop and soul singer Vanessa Mason, R&B crooner Ayman, trip-hop band Reality Brothers, the Sudanese singer and Henna artist Setona, Waldemar Bastos, who combines Afro pop and Fado and the German-based transnational anti-racism project Brothers Keepers.
