Elmira Bahrami



Elmira Bahrami was born in Siegen. Until 2011 she studied acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Since her graduation she works as a freelance actress for theater and film. In theater she worked with directors like Pınar Karabulut, Martina Eitner Acheampong, Antú Romero Nunes, Hakan Savas Mican and Sebastian Nübling as well as in various artist collectives.

In Berlin she plays at the Volksbühne. In front of the camera she played in movies like „Das Hochzeitsvideo" by Sönke Wortmann and "Berlin Syndrome" (Sundance Film Festival, Berlinale) by Cate Shortland and at „Tatort" Serial "Trautes Heim" by Christoph Schnee.

At WERKSTATT DER KULTUREN she curates concerts for the series WorldWideMusic in november 2019.
