KRIWI is a progressive newFolk & clubEthno band from Belarus. The band name literally means "a person belonging to the ancient Belarusian tribe of Kriwians". KRIWI is known for using a variety of European folk instruments (flutes, reeds, percussion etc.) and mixing them with modern technology of synthesizer and samples, beatbox, video-WJ InterFilmWostok and with powerful vocals.

The sound is dark and powerful, combining unusual Slavic melodies with creative, energetic arrangements and delicate musicianship.
