The program will feature a mix of Jazz, Electronic and Latin music; including the music of Max Roach, Abbey Lincoln, Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Herbie Hancock, Oscar Brown Jr., Bert Williams and Thelonius Monk, Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, John Coltrane, Horace Tapscott, Pedro Flores, Mongo Santamaria and others.

Black Music Renaissance features the talents of exciting world class musicians from Denmark, USA, and Cuba:

2 Sets feature Detroit poet and musician Sadiq Bey's literal readings of Oscar Brown Jr., Bert Williams and Thelonius Monk as well as original electronic selections of his SlipSlop sub genre.
