Bloody Kalinka - Russian Punk Polka

"Kalinka, Malinka", it once rang across the vast steppes of Russia...

"Bloody Kalinka" it echoed back when Berlin based Dr. Bajan, founder of Sovietabilly ( button accordion ), Cosmonautix - Captain Morgan Nickolay (Balalaika), Sascha Black (Bass) from Poltava, the Ukrainian Palermo and the Hessian Bernd Döllemanski (drums) came together. In addition to classics such as "Odessa”, their songs speak of real life in Russia.

After a three verses of  instructions on how to fill a Belamor - the “Soviet joint” - it requires no great knowledge of Russian or highball experience to recognize that "Bloody Kalinka" is much more than a bloody berry.

Nikolai Fomin - E-Bajan, Vocals

Morgan Nickolay - E-Balalaika, Vocals

Sascha Black - E-Bass, Vocals

Bernd Döllemanski - Drums, Vocals
