 Kaye Soffski Show

Punkchanka (Reggae, Punk, Rock, Ska, Latin and Hip Hop)
presented by World Wide Music

The band has long since ceased to be an insider tip, at the very latest since their legendary performance with Mano Chao at the Berlin Zitadelle in Spandau, and have played several concerts at home and abroad.

The Kaye Soffski Show consists of 6-10 musicians. Drums, bass, 2 guitars, keyboards and 3 vocalists are the cornerstones of the band. Sweaty concerts pave their way as the band keeps continuing to cast their spell on the audience. The Kaye Soffski Show always performs with a passionate fiesta feeling at festivals, street festivals, small and large clubs, bars or simply on the street and animates their audience with even more spontaneous vocal numbers and wild choruses.

They sing in German, English, and sometimes in Spanish, about daily life, problems in the neighbourhood and life on the streets in general – and they don’t take everything seriously all the time. Their music is a colourful mix of reggae, punk, rock, ska, Latin and hip hop, a style which they have called Punkchanka. But listen for yourself:
