Female Voices at World Wide Music:

- con sabor a Salsa -

8 musicians from Columbia and Germany will get everyone out of their seats with their Berlin mix of salsa, merengue and rumba. Refined with elements of jazz, flamenco and cumbia, they present original compositions and arrangements of traditional salsa works.
The singer and poet Sonia Solarte from Cali, the salsa metropolis of Columbia, and the German-Columbian Johanna Giesecke from Berlin front the band. Both of them sing, laugh, dance and tell stories about love and joie de vivre.
For their 20th anniversary, ORQUESTA BURUNDANGA have compiled a set of their best songs for you!

Line up:

Sonia Solarte - vocals, choirs

Johanna Giesecke - vocals, choirs

Gisela Meßollen - trumpet, choirs

Tanja Becker - trombone, choirs

Susanne Schulz - keyboard, e-violin

Peter Befort - e-bass, choirs
